Senior Human Resources Generalist

Position Summary

Seeking an experienced HR professional to support and lead key Human Resources functions including talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, compliance, training, and HR program administration. This role partners closely with leadership to drive HR initiatives, maintain regulatory compliance, and support a positive, high-performing workplace.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage full-cycle recruitment, onboarding, and workforce planning activities.
  • Partner with leadership on employee relations, performance management, succession planning, and organizational initiatives.
  • Administer and maintain HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Conduct workplace investigations and assist with conflict resolution.
  • Maintain employee records, training documentation, and compliance-related files.
  • Monitor regulatory changes and recommend updates to HR programs and policies.
  • Develop and facilitate employee training, orientation, and development programs.
  • Support employee engagement, retention, and culture-building initiatives.
  • Provide guidance to managers and employees on HR-related matters.
  • Assist in supervising and mentoring HR team members as needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, Communications, or related field required.
  • Master's degree in HR, Labor Relations, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
  • 15+ years of progressive Human Resources experience.
  • Strong background in recruitment, employee relations, compliance, benefits administration, and performance management.
  • Experience partnering with executive and senior leadership teams.
  • SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, SPHR, or similar certification preferred.

Skills & Knowledge

  • Thorough knowledge of HR principles, employment law, and compliance requirements.
  • Experience with HRIS, ATS, payroll, learning management, and performance management systems.
  • Strong leadership, communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Work Environment

  • Primarily office-based setting.
